Co-Buyers:
Co-buyers are people who are looking to combine resources with others with the objective of purchasing a property in which they will co-habit together and share costs until the eventual resale of the property. This type of property shared ownership is aimed at first time house buyers and investors who want to stay in an area that they cannot afford to get into on their own- that's why we make it easy and risk free to buy together.

Co-Investors:
Co-investors are those people looking to combine resources to increase lending power and share the risk of purchasing one property or more with a view to renting it out to achieve an additional income stream, for renovating or in order to buy off-plan and negotiate a better discount before resale and making a profit. Co-investors are both experienced investors with large portfolios and inexperienced investors looking to find co-investment partners to share the profit and risk of an investment deal in both new build properties and the second hand housing market.

Our Role
Buyingblock's Co-Buying:
We have identified many of the benefits such as sharing initial legal and associated conveyance costs, on-going bills and expenses but perhaps most importantly simply owning part of a property years sooner than would have been possible otherwise! Through the shared purchase of property our members are able to join the property ladder now and get a foothold on raising property prices. We also suggest what precautions should be taken in order to protect each of the co-buyers or co-investors interests and how to manage future lifestyle changes and the eventual resale of the property. All are important issues that can be provided for early on in the process. We can also offer expert independent advice and extensive local information of new build homes and property markets through our real estate team. Already there is a growing service sector to facilitate the increasing co-buying/ co-investing trend from joint mortgages to protection agreements with many of the big mortgage providers reacting to this area of the property buying market with new services.
